I lived in S Florida for many years, this food was as good as anything I would have gotten in Miami. Well done.
Great food in a very casual setting. The colorful decor is great. You go to the counter to order and pay, then depending on how busy it is inside, they my bring your food out to your table or call your ticket number for you to walk up and get it. Try the Cuban Gone Bananas, the churros, and the coffee! All are WONDERFUL! I introduced a friend with Cuban family to this restaurant, and she said they loved it when they went.
Not bad at all! Very surprised to find this nice little place tucked away close to home. My friend and I enjoyed lunch and will def be back!
Excellent Cuban food. Counter service. Couple vegetarian options and plenty of Latin standards... Pork and beef. Tostones are delicious.
This is a quaint, walk-in, no fuss joint with good sandwiches and some plates. I was craving good Cuban and this hit the spot! I only have a traditional Cuban, but cant wait to try the plates when I'm back in town.
Really good food and a variety of sandwiches. Nice place to have lunch.
Really good food, particularly the sandwiches. The pork is amazing. I didn't care for the picadillo or the empanadas, but seriously get the sandwiches! And for your side get the plantains. You absolutely won't regret it!
Super legit Cuban sandwiches, friendly staff and clean decor. Can't wait to go back and try more odd the menu.
I have had many Cuban sandwiches over the years, but NONE are as good as the ones served at the Mad Cuban. Partner it with the black beans and rice and you will leave full and satisfied! I like to mix the mild and hot sauces and dip my sandwich in the combo. It is just the right mix of flavor and punch. Give it a try!
Cuban-American from Miami and I miss the ventanitas. Hard to find decent cuban food outside of Miami. Had a Cuban sandwich with side of black beans and rice. Can tell the black beans are house made- delicious. Did not have cafecito this visit, but I will return.
Best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and food is always as good as I remember it.
Oh yes! Allllll the goodness to authentic Cuban food! Of course, I tried the original Cuban to test the waters and it completely delivered! I’d go back just for that! The half portion is PLENTY to eat with a side of beans and rice. My friends got some amazing dishes as well and said it was incredible! We’ll be back to try the whole menu eventually! Staff were nice, efficient, and welcoming! Place was clean and decorated in a homey atmosphere!
One of my favorite restaurants in Simpsonville. Sandwiches are large enough to fill you up! Sauces are a great add on to a delicious sandwich! Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!
This place is a gem. Food is delicious and made with love. The media noche sandwich is 🔥🔥
I haven't eaten Cuban food this good since the last time I was down in Miami. I stopped in out of happenstance as the restaurant I planned to go to was closed. I am so glad the other restaurant was closed because this was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. I highly recommend the "Cuban Gone Bananas" sandwich (TOASTED HEAVEN), both types of empanadas, the cafe leche (SO GOOD), and the beans and rice. I will be back, I will be hungry, I will leave happy.
Oh man my sandwich was crazy good. I don't even know what it was called. I ordered the first thing the lady recommended, and she did not disappoint.Oh: And they have flan.
Great Cuban sandwiches. This is the one place that my kids ask to go to every week. If you haven't already tried them, please go there, you won't be disappointed.
Best sandwiches in town. Highly recommend. Their mad sauce is the best. Be sure to buy a few bottles to take home.
I'm currently in miami and wishing the Cubans tastes as good as yalls.
Price is a bit high, but it's great food and friendly service.
Service was quick, staff was friendly and the food was very, very good. Great place for a quick bite .
Mad greasy. Super flavorful! Even the rice and beans were full of flavor! Good thing not close to me because fat body mode activated! Yum!
Love this place! A bit on the small side, with a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service is excellent. Lots of choices on the menu, and the food is insanely good. Very tasty. You can't go wrong with any choice you make here.
MUST get the Media Noche sandwich. It's out of this world good! Also good service! Highly recommend!
My new favorite restaurant! The Pork Gone Bananas is wonderful! Can’t wait to try more stuff. We ordered our food for pick up. My husband said the staff were super friendly.
Just read a couple of reviews here that makes no sense to me being Cuban.... just had Cuban coffee in a styrofoam cup.. felt like I was back home in Miami!! Loved my Cuban coffee in my styrofoam cup, just like it should be!!
Food is always good and hot! The three milk cake is a **MUST TRY** One of my favorite restaurants♥ï¸â™¥ï¸
The absolute best Cuban restaurant around. Amazing sandwiches, a good atmosphere, and food came out really fast! I will definitely be coming back for more.
The food was outstanding. I had the pork gone bananas sandwich wow!!! Highly recommended
As with every cuban restaurant I have been to, the hospitality is exceptional. The kind lady who took my order was not only informative, but genuine. I ordered the pork cuban gone bananas and I really enjoyed their particular flair combined with the traditional cuban sandwich. The sandwich had a thin layer of potato sticks that added a delightful crunch to every bite. The accompanied rice and black beans were also fantastic.TLDR - Eat here, you won't regret it. Try their "gone bananas" style if you're a bit adventurous.
Omg!!! If you’ve ever had Cafe Cubano and haven’t been able to find it here, look NO FURTHER!! This place is the absolute BEE’S KNEES! Best service I’ve had in a while and the coffee is perfectly authentic. I’ve found my new spot! Thanks, Mad Cuban Cafe - you turned a 10 hr drive for coffee into a two hour drive (I live in Columbia) and I couldn’t be happier 🤗â¤ï¸
This place is food heaven. The brightly colored chairs and the lively Latin music literally made me want to dance while I ate! The service was speedy and the food was so delicious. We got the Cuban gone bananas and pork gone bananas which both had crispy bread and amazing flavor. We finished the meal with the homemade tres leche which was definitely the cherry on top! Go to Mad Cuban, it won’t disappoint!
Delicious real deal Cuban sandwich. This from someone who lived in Tampa. Really nice place. Traveling for business. Glad I found it.
Very friendly place, nice decorated, clean. I ordered the cuban sandwich with banana and also the churro dessert yummy.
Hands down the best Cuban food in South Carolina and probably the surrounding states also! I visit everytime I'm in Simpsonville and have never had a bad meal there. The food is authentic, I have yet to try something I didn't like but my all time favorite is the Cuban gone bananas sandwich. Mimi and her staff are always super friendly so if you haven't gone give them a try, you won't leave disappointed!
Very good. Quick food well made
I always get the cuban gone bananas and I love it!! The flavor is always perfect and the staff is super friendly and attentive.
Authentic, delicious Cuban food in a basic, strip mall location. The Lechon Asado and Ropa Vieja are delicious. Their only shortfall is they serve fewer fried plantains per portion than you'd receive in Miami. Other than that, if you close your eyes you can pretend you're there...
I had the Cuban Sandwich Gone Bananas- I highly recommend it. The plantains were amazing as well as the black beans and rice. We tried the flan...o.m.g. The churro was delish, and the caramel filled churro, well, try it for yourself.
I took my family of 5 here for dinner and everything we had was on point. We ordered the Cuban sandwich which had plenty of meat with a nice crispy crust, the Picadillo with fried eggs and the lechon (shredded pork). Everything we ordered was delicious and ask for the spicy sauce (mayonnaise base) which ties the rice and beans. We also order the colada with sugar, which is a double shot of extra strong espresso.
This is a little gem that some of our friends recommend on the way to a concert, we have been back several times. It is Very inexpensive so we usally try several items.
Can't wait to return to this restaurant. Great food and owner
My girlfriend and I came on a recommendation by a co-worker and am grateful we took the time to go. The sandwiches we got were some of the best I've had and big enough to split into 2 meals. I wish I lived closer to the restaurant as I would become a regular patron
Place was awesome Cuban sandwiches I had the large Cuban and it was delicious with plantains and some spicy sauce and a side of black beans and rice and some delicious unique soft drinks in the cooler highly recommend them give him a try very nice people.
The atmosphere could be better. A menu posted to read would be nice before coming to the counter, but the food is absolutley amazing! Everything on the menu delivers. They offer great food at good price and the staff is very friendly.
A great restaurant that serves excellent food. I enjoy the Cuban Gone Bananas, the rice and beans and a Cuban empanada.
Awesome service healthy food very tasteful. Couldn't ask for more. Love the Ambiance! Come check them out you won't regret it!
A great hole in the wall place for a quick lunch bite. Sandwiches were well crafted and very filling. Pricing was fair, and ingredients were all fresh and well balanced.
The food I ordered was really good but a bit pricey especially considering it was served in styrofoam. I ordered the Cuban style coffee was expecting it to come in a cappuccino style glass cup not styrofoam. I loved the empanadas I would order those again with the white rice but no more coffee for me. Also would b great if yellow rice was offered as well. Service was reasonably friendly. I spent 45 on enough food to accommodate 2,included tip. Up grade atmosphere and stay away from styrofoam and I would rate 4.5 out of 5.
